| Resumen / Abstract : | En base a una metodología etnográfica se identifican y analizan visiones de diferentes actores frente al proyecto urbanístico Ciudad del Milenio en la comunidad A’I Cofán Dureno, provincia de Sucumbíos, en un relato sobre las condiciones políticas, sociales y territoriales, ordenadas en tres momentos socio-históricos, que avanzan desde el inicio de la actividad petrolera en la Amazonía norte ecuatoriana, hasta la actualidad. A raíz de estos acontecimientos interesa presentar las consecuencias del extractivismo y de las políticas de desarrollo ligadas a él, tales como la Ciudad del Milenio Cofán Dureno. Using an ethnographic methodology, this article will identify and analyze the visions of various stakeholders regarding the Ciudad del Milenio urban development project, located in Dureno, province of Sucumbíos. This will be related to the political, social and territorial conditions, which are ordered into three socio-hisotrical moments that progress from the beginning of the oil activity in the northern Ecuadorian Amazon, to the present. As a result of these events, of important interest is the consequences of extractivism and the development policies linked to it, such as the Millenium City Cofán Dureno. |
