| Resumen / Abstract : | Esta edición del Informe Mundial de Inversiones proporciona un análisis valioso que puede contribuir al debate mundial sobre la manera de acelerar el progreso hacia los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio y dar forma a una visión de largo alcance para un futuro más sostenible más allá de 2015. El informe revela una tendencia alentadora: después de un descenso en 2012, los flujos de inversión extranjera directa aumentaron en un 9 por ciento en 2013, con un crecimiento espera que continúe en los próximos años. Esto demuestra el gran potencial de inversión internacional, junto con otros recursos financieros, para ayudar a alcanzar los objetivos de una agenda post-2015 para el desarrollo sostenible. Las empresas transnacionales pueden apoyar este esfuerzo la creación de puestos de trabajo decente, la generación de las exportaciones, la promoción de los derechos, respetando el medio ambiente, el fomento de locales contenido, el pago de impuestos justos y la transferencia de capital, tecnología y contactos de negocios para impulsar el desarrollo. |
