dc.descriptionEn este trabajo se expone el resultado de los compromisos establecidos en el Programa Nacional de Infraestructura 2007-2012, en el área de Comunicaciones y Transportes, con la intención de que México se ubicara en el lugar 30 en competitividad en el contexto internacional y ser uno de los líderes de América Latina por la cobertura y calidad de su infraestructura de acuerdo a los estándares del Foro Económico Mundial. Además, se pretendía con la infraestructura generada, proporcionar mejores servicios a una mayor cantidad de población y procurar un desarrollo equilibrado entre las diferentes regiones del país. La investigación documental se llevó a cabo de lo general a lo particular, para comparar los objetivos, metas y programas de inversión planteado en el Programa Nacional de Infraestructura con lo realizado durante el sexenio, para concluir que los resultados distaron de ser los esperados, debido a que en algunos casos se cumplieron algunas metas con la infraestructura generada y en otros no. Como resultado se tiene que México se ubicó en el año 2012, en el lugar 58 en el Índice de Competitividad Global en el mundo y el sexto en América Latina, de acuerdo al Foro Económico Mundial (WEF).es_EC
dc.descriptionIn this paper, the result of the commitments in the National Infrastructure Program 2007-2012, in the area of Communications and Transport, Mexico pretend was located in 30th place in competitiveness in the international context and be one of the exposed leaders of Latin America for the coverage and quality of infrastructure in accordance with the standards of the World Economic Forum. Also intended to provide better services infrastructure generated a larger population and ensure a balanced development between different regions of the country. Documentary research was carried out from the general to the particular, to compare the goals, objectives and investment programs outlined in the National Infrastructure Program with the developments during the six years, concluding that the results were far from expected, because in some cases some infrastructure generated goals were met and not in others. The result is that Mexico has started in 2012, 58th in the Global Competitiveness Index in the world and the sixth in Latin America, according to the World Ecomic Forum (WEF).es_EC
