| Description: | Los sistemas médicos y prácticas sobre salud es uno de los aspectos menos conocidos de la etnografía Achuar y de los grupos jíbaros (Warren 1994, Santos 2007, Descola 2005). Esta circunstancia genera diversas clasificaciones, relacionadas con diferentes categorías de males o enfermedades e interpretaciones sobre el origen de las mismas. En este tipo de contextos alejados del modelo de salud biomédico, el cual se ha introducido de manera insidiosa y poco cuidadosa en ocasiones en forma de políticas sanitarias o programas de salud culturalmente poco competentes (Abad 2005, Kleinman and Benson 2006, Pulido 2010, Knipper 2013), se considera oportuno y necesario incorporar las narrativas del paciente. Se persigue comprender el modelo de salud Achuar como un proceso intersubjetivo, resultando un modelo de salud vivo y en construcción. A partir de algunos estudios de caso, como estrategia de investigación, se pretende ilustrar y clarificar las dinámicas que la población Achuar pone en funcionamiento dentro de los procesos de salud-enfermedad-atención. This circumstance generates different classifications, related with different categories of evils or diseases and interpretations about the origin of the same. The boundaries between some and other ailments are not clearly delimited, or not the ways of solving them. In this type of context away from the biomedical model of health, which has been introduced so insidious and little careful sometimes in the form of health policy or health programs culturally little competent (Abbot 2005, Kleinman and Benson 2006, Pulido 2010, Knipper 2013) is considered timely and necessary to incorporate narratives of the patient. It is intended to understand the model of health Achuar as a process of intersubjective, resulting a living model of health and construction. From some case studies, such as research strategy, is intended to illustrate and clarify the dynamics that the Achuar people put into operation within the processes of health - care. |
