| Resumen / Abstract : | El artículo aborda algunos de los aspectos, tanto históricos como actuales, que determinan la concepción de la inteligencia militar en América del Sur. Para lo anterior, se toman en cuenta la influencia de los elementos doctrinarios clásicos del pensamiento militar, la existencia de un eventual cambio de paradigma en la comprensión de los procesos conflictivos y en las propias dimensiones de la inteligencia, y la incorporación de otros elementos que derivarían en la adopción de otros parámetros analíticos para la temática señalada. Lo anterior da paso para el planteamiento de algunos desafíos que la región mantiene en labores de inteligencia militar, siempre considerando una división entre la mantención de una concepción clásica del conflicto, y la adopción de nuevas tendencias en el campo de la guerra. This article studies some historical and current aspects that determine the conception of military intelligence in South America. To do that, it's consider the influence of the classic doctrinal elements of military thought, the existence of an eventual change of paradigm in the understanding of the conflictive processes and in the own dimensions of the intelligence, and the incorporation of other elements that would result in the adoption of other analytical parameters for the aforementioned subject. This conduces to the approach of some challenges that the region maintains in military intelligence tasks, always considering a division between the maintenance of a classic conception of the conflict and the adoption of new tendencies in the field of war. |
