| Description: | La aparición relativamente reciente del término desarrollo territorial en la literatura está relacionada en gran medida con el interés que han mostrado en los últimos años los investigadores y los encargados de formular políticas por las cuestiones territoriales. Si bien la investigación se ha centrado durante mucho tiempo en las dimensiones regionales y en los procesos de desarrollo a escala nacional o regional, una serie de acontecimientos han llamado la atención sobre la cuestión de los territorios y han puesto de relieve todo el interés por abordar el espinoso pero muy popular problema del desarrollo territorial. The relatively recent emergence of the term territorial development in the literature is largely related to the interest shown in recent years by researchers and policy makers for territorial questions. While research has long focused on regional dimensions and development processes at the national or regional level, a number of events have drawn attention to the issue of territories and highlighted all the interest to address the thorny but very popular problem of territorial development. |
