| Description: | El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el aporte de Edwin Sutherland para la comprensión de la naturaleza y el tratamiento del delito económico global en el contexto actual. El crimen organizado, la corrupción, la evasión fiscal, los delitos corporativos e incluso la informalidad económica son fenómenos problemáticos, pero consustanciales a la globalización económica. Por lo tanto, se establece un puente entre el saber criminológico y los estudios internacionales. The objective of this article is to analyze the contribution of the intellectual work of Edwin Sutherland for the understanding of the nature and treatment of global economic crime in the current context. Organized crime, corruption, tax evasion, corporate crimes and even economic informality are problematic but consubstantial phenomena to economic globalization. This allows to establish a link between criminology and international studies. |
