The COVID-19 pandemic brought a series of challenges to daily life, with effects on the food supply chain and its main food providers, family farmers. This article aims to understand the effects on family farmers’ markets in the south of Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul State and its impacts on the dynamics of the food supply in which they are involved, as well as in their health and income. This is an exploratory research, which analyzes qualitative and quantitative data and has mapped family farmers markets in five large regions of the southernmost state of Brazil, out of a total of 119 municipalities. |
