| Resumen / Abstract : | El objetivo del presente artículo es explorar las implicaciones que la competencia estratégica global entre Estados Unidos y China puede tener –y ya está teniendo– en América Latina y el Caribe, región que, por razones económico-comerciales, político-diplomáticas y tecnológicas se encuentra en medio de un gran pulso por el poder global. Desde un enfoque integrador, transdisciplinario y estratégico, se analizan las ramificaciones de la rivalidad entre Estados Unidos y China en el hemisferio occidental. The objective of this article is to explore the implications that the global strategic competition between the United States and China can have –and is already having– in Latin America and the Caribbean, a region that is in the middle of this great power competition, for economic, trade, political-diplomatic or technological reasons. From an integrative, transdisciplinary and strategic approach, the ramifications of the rivalry between the United States and China in the Western Hemisphere are analyzed. |
