| dc.description | La presente etnografía es el resultado de la investigación colaborativa entre una psicóloga feminista menstruante, activista y educadora menstrual, maestranda en género y políticas públicas; y un grupo de adolescentes menstruantes que participan de programas de formación feminista en Lima (Perú). El objetivo fue comprender la influencia que las narrativas históricas sobre la menstruación tienen en la construcción de las identidades y el desarrollo de quienes participan-protagonizan esta investigación. Tomando en cuenta que la mayoría de narrativas sobre la menstruación están vinculadas al tabú menstrual, y que el mismo es una expresión de violencia machista y patriarcal, es urgente recuperar las voces de quienes experimentan su influencia. En esta tesis se recogen experiencias, emociones y discusiones colectivas que nos permiten acercarnos a la realidad de las/les adolescentes. En el primer capítulo de este documento propongo algunas ideas sobre la importancia de investigar sobre la menstruación con perspectiva de género, y en el segundo capítulo comparto algunos hallazgos sobre la realidad de las/les adolescentes menstruantes. Seguidamente, presento la metodología utilizada. En el cuarto capítulo, expongo las reflexiones colectivas realizadas junto al grupo de adolescentes. Finalmente, en el quinto capítulo, comparto mi análisis feminista, inspirado por el diálogo con las/les adolescentes. A modo de cierre, comparto algunas conclusiones e inquietudes pendientes. | es_ES |
| dc.description | This ethnography is the result of a collaborative research between a menstruating feminist psychologist, menstrual activist and educator, who is pursuing a master's degree in gender and public policies; and a group of menstruating adolescents living and participating in feminist training programs in Lima, Peru. The objective of this investigation is to reflect upon and comprehend the influence of the narratives around menstruation in shaping the identities and social development of those involved in the research. Understanding that most of these narratives are menstrual taboos, and they belong to an expression of sexist and patriarchal violence; it is urgent to research menstrual taboos from the perspectives of those who experience their daily effects. This thesis has gathered collective experiences, emotions, and discussions that allow us to comprehend the reality of the adolescents influenced by these narratives. In the first part of this paper, I share the motivation behind this research and suggest some ideas on the importance of researching menstruation from a gender perspective. In the second chapter, I describe the reality of adolescents in relation to menstruation. The third chapter presents the research methodology. The subsequent chapters contain the collective reflections and my feminist analysis drawn up from the dialogue with the adolescents. Finally, conclusions and pending concerns are presented. | es_ES |
