E dentro destes investimentos, os portos tornaram-se mais importantes com a liberalização comercial e a emergências das cadeias globais de valor. São considerados ativos regionais indutores de atividades econômicas relevantes. Este artigo pretende analisar como o porto de Itaguaí pode se tornar um instrumento central numa estratégia de desenvolvimento econômico regional para o estado do Rio de Janeiro. Investment in infrastructure is fundamental to any development project. And within these investments, ports have become more important with trade liberalisation and the emergence of global value chains. They are considered regional assets that induce relevant economic activities. This article aims to analyse how the port of Itaguaí can become a central instrument in a regional economic development strategy for the state of Rio de Janeiro. |
