dc.descriptionEn este artículo se explora el potencial epistémico y discursivo de la imagen en los debates sobre el proceso de autodestrucción que provoca el desarrollo de las megaciudades en el Antropoceno. Se enfoca el caso paradigmático de la Ciudad de México. Las ocho fotografías seleccionadas –también llamadas imágenes de reflexión– perfilan, siguiendo a Bruno Latour, las alteraciones geomorfológicas como políticas terrestres. This article explores the epistemic and discursive potential of the image in debates on the self-destructive development of megacities in the Anthropocene, focusing on the paradigmatic case of Mexico City. Following Bruno Latour, the selection of eight images—also called of images of contemplation—reveal geomorphological alterations as territorial policies.es_ES
