Description:	La tesis propone aportar al campo de estudio de la educación y el trabajo a partir de un estudio de caracterización sectorial, el análisis del empleo y los elementos incorporados en la negociación sectorial en las últimas dos décadas en Argentina. Para ello, se retoma la experiencia de la industria metalmecánica en instancias de negociación colectiva propuestas por el sindicato de Unión Obrera Metalúrgica (UOMRA), desde el 2003 hasta la actualidad en Argentina. La presente investigación se desarrolla a través de una metodología mixta, en la cual, a partir de un análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo. En consecuencia, se lleva adelante, por un lado, el análisis de datos secundarios recopilados a partir de censos, estadísticas y documentos, tales como los datos estadísticos obtenidos del informe de Seguridad Social 2020 de la Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos (AFIP). Por el otro, se realiza un análisis documental de la oferta formativa para la modalidad y perfil sectorial A través del análisis de las prácticas y acuerdos surgidos en las negociaciones colectivas, se busca identificar las herramientas y enfoques desarrollados por los actores institucionales en relación a los contextos y tiempos históricos situados. The thesis proposes to contribute to the field of study of education and work from a study of sectoral characterization, the analysis of employment and the elements incorporated in sectoral negotiation in the last two decades in Argentina. To this end, the experience of the metalworking industry is taken up in instances of collective bargaining proposed by the Unión Obrera Metalúrgica (UOMRA) union, from 2003 to the present in Argentina. This research is developed through a mixedmethodology, in which, based on a quantitative and qualitative analysis. Consequently, on the one hand, the analysis of secondary data collected from censuses, statistics and documents is carried out, such as the statistical data obtained from the 2020 Social Security report of the Federal Public RevenueAdministration (AFIP). On the other hand, a documentary analysis of the training offer is carried out for the modality and sectoral profile. Through the analysis of the practices and agreements that emerged in collective negotiations, we seek to identify the tools and approaches developed by institutional actors in relation to the situated historical contexts and times.
