Resumen / Abstract : En un momento en que los países se esfuerzan por alcanzar en Los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio y el mundo es dando forma a una nueva agenda de desarrollo global post-2015, el sistema de las Naciones Unidas y sus líderes están trabajando para garantizar que la importancia de la cultura se refleje como tanto un controlador y habilitador de humano sostenible desarrollo en futuros objetivos y metas de desarrollo. La cultura es un motor de desarrollo, liderado por el crecimiento de la economía creativa en general y la creativa y industrias culturales en particular, reconocidas no solo por su valor económico, pero también cada vez más para el papel en la producción de nuevas ideas o tecnologías creativas, y sus beneficios sociales no monetizados.
