Felipe Calderón ha implantado, conjuntamente con el Sistema Nacional de Seguridad Pública, y los Gobernadores del país a efectos de reformar la organización y funcionamiento de las instituciones policiales mexicanas en orden a mejorar su eficacia. A pesar de ello la oposición a algunas reformas ha sido importante. En la transición hacia el modelo policial que persiguen sus políticas se muestra que un número muy importante de militares retirados han asumido funciones de dirección política de las policías mexicanas. Se reflexiona brevemente sobre la oportunidad de ello. The authors review the strategies that Felipe Calderón, the Mexican president, has issue to reform the Mexican police organizations. He had been supported by the Council of National Security, and the governors of the states. Nevertheless the opposition to some reforms has been important. It is important to notice that retired military officers have taken office in a great number of Mexican police institutions. It is necessary to think on the convenience of this fact. |
