dc.descriptionLas características propias de la criminalidad organizada enfrentan al Estado nación a una realidad compleja frente a la cual no existen soluciones únicas ni sencillas. La única herramienta que posee el Estado para el combate a estas organizaciones es el conocimiento como herramienta para sustentar la toma de decisión en todos los niveles. En este contexto, este artículo analiza la situación actual del organismo coordinador del Sistema de Inteligencia Criminal argentino (Dirección Nacional de Inteligencia Criminal) como responsable de la producción de conocimiento específico sobre los delitos complejos y la delincuencia organizada estudiando, principalmente, las limitaciones que presenta el mismo para cumplir con su función.es_EC
dc.descriptionThe characteristics of organized crime confront the nation State to a complex reality for which there are no unique or simple solutions. The only resource that holds the State to confront these organizations is the knowledge to support decision-making at all levels. This paper analyses the current situation of the agency responsible for the coordination of the Argentinean System of Criminal Intelligence (National Directorate of Criminal Intelligence) as the organization responsible for the production of specific knowledge about complex crimes and organized crime, analyzing the most relevant constrains that this organization present to fulfill its mission.es_EC
