| Resumen / Abstract : | El presente artículo refiere a la revisión propuesta por Ernesto Laclau a la consideración tradicional acerca del llamado populismo. En marzo de 2012 Laclau visitó Ecuador y ofreció una conferencia magistral en FLACSO; respondo aquí a lo dicho por Laclau en aquella ocasión. Se esbozan críticas a algunos de sus planteamientos. Ernesto Laclau, professor emeritus of the University of Essex, UK, visited Ecuador in May, 2012. In his open conference at FLACSO-Quito, Laclau presented his peculiar interpretation of “populism.” The present article sketches the main lines of Laclau´s lecture and critiques some of his main theoretical and political tenets. |
