| Description: | El propósito del artículo es retomar la idea de territorio o espacio, y su vinculación con la localización industrial, para señalar su capacidad explicativa de las transformaciones, que han sufrido los espacios como consecuencia de factores que no solamente tienen como causa los procesos económicos; sino, sociales y culturales. Es decir, para visualizar la capacidad de innovación de un territorio se tiene que considerar causas de tipo sociológico, que en mayor o menor medida, pueden determinar el éxito o el fracaso del desarrollo local.
