Description:	Las empresas en México, como en cualquier otro país, requieren de un sistema de información que les permita tomar decisiones oportunas y precisas, que se adelanten a los cambios en los entornos y las preparen para enfrentar la competencia y alteraciones que se produzcan en el mundo de las finanzas y el ámbito político y social. El presente estudio tiene como objeto conocer de forma directa las principales causas del porqué las Pymes mexicanas no utilizan el diagnóstico organizacional como herramienta administrativa que les brinde información de la situación actual que atraviesan y basen su toma de decisiones en hechos e información real. Por otra parte, el estudio analiza el modelo de rotación de sectores como instrumento financiero que proporciona a las empresas información del entorno económico, con anticipación suficiente para tomar sus decisiones, siempre y cuando se consideren cada una de sus variables. De igual manera, se recomienda la aplicación de la teoría Dow y el análisis técnico, como herramienta que permita conocer la situación del mercado y su evolución probable para advertir la tendencia del mercado y con ello tomar medidas pertinentes para la empresa. Companies in Mexico, as elsewhere, require an information system that allows them to take timely and accurate decisions in order to be ahead of changes in the environment and to be prepared to face competition and changes in the financial world as well as in the political and social domaines. The main objective of this paper, is to directly find the main reasons why the Mexican SMEs do not use organizational diagnosis, as an administrative tool that gives them information about the current situation and allow them to base their decisions on facts and real information. Moreover, the study analyzes the pattern of rotating sectors, as a financial tool that gives companies information of the economic environment in advance, and enables to make choices, as long as they analyze each of its variables. It also recommends the utilization of the Dow theory and of technical analysis as important tools that enable to asses the market situation and its likely development and warns about the market trend thus allowing the enterprises to take the appropriate measures.
