El presente estudio se ocupa de analizar las ideas en el campo de la política turística argentina y su influencia en la generación de la misma en el período 1960 - 2008. Se reconstruye la trayectoria histórica del campo de la política turística en Argentina analizando las características socio históricas que rodean y condicionan la constitución del mismo; por otro lado se analiza la actuación de los agentes, es decir los intelectuales y expertos de la PT1, las instituciones públicas y privadas de la PT vistas como agencias y sus maneras de actuar en el lapso estudiado y finalmente las ideas que se producen y circulan en las PT. La posición argentina sobre PT desarrollada en las cuatro últimas décadas se ha transformado junto a la noción sobre el mismo fenómeno turístico, que de considerarse un derecho para las clases populares y obreras se convirtió en un sector económico, estrella del capitalismo global y oportunidad de incrementar los indicadores de crecimiento. Posteriormente a eso, apareció la reivindicación del turismo en su potencial de generar opciones sostenibles de desarrollo. Más recientemente se planteó la posibilidad de recuperar y reparar el papel del turismo desde estrategias de crecimiento económico e inclusión social. Ese proceso es el que se describe y analiza considerando la actuación clave de los intelectuales y expertos de la política turística argentina en un contexto latinoamericano. Aunque es fácilmente detectable la línea de pensamiento en la política turística argentina actual, en el marco de los paradigmas en curso: calidad, competitividad y sostenibilidad, es indispensable repensar una agenda crítica para la misma que ponga en el centro de la escena la herencia y la tradición frente a los desafíos locales en un mundo global. The present study analyzes the ideas in the field of the tourist Argentine politics and his influence in the generation of the same one in the period 1960 - 2008. There is reconstructed the historical path of the field of the tourist politics in Argentina analyzing the characteristics partner historical that surround and determine the constitution of the same one; on the other hand the action of the agents is analyzed, ie intellectual and experts of the TP, the institutions public and deprived of the Tourist Politics dress as agencies and his ways of acting in the studied space and finally the ideas that take place and circulate in the TP. The Argentine position on PT developed in last four decades has transformed close to the notion on the same tourist phenomenon, which of be considering to be a right for the popular and working classes turned into an economic, major sector of the global capitalism and opportunity to increase the indicators of growth. Later to it, the recovery of the tourism appeared in his potential of generating sustainable options of development. More recently there appears the possibility of recovering and repairing the paper of the tourism from strategies of economic growth and social incorporation. This process is the one that is described and analyzes considering the key action of intellectual and experts of the tourist Argentine politics in a Latin-American context. Though the line of thoughts is easily detectable in the tourist Argentine current politics, in the frame of the paradigms in process: quality, competitiveness and sustainability, is necessary to rethink a critical agenda for the same one that puts in the center of the scene the inheritance and the tradition opposite to the local challenges in a global world.
