dc.description	En la Argentina se asiste a un proceso de expansión de formas de producción y de distribución de alimentos que buscan diferenciarse de las modalidades convencionales, priorizando entre otros aspectos un enfoque de economía social, la perspectiva territorial y el desarrollo de canales propios de comercialización. Estos Circuitos Alimentarios Alternativos (CAA), apuntan a fortalecer aspectos éticos en el intercambio, prácticas productivas respetuosas del ambiente y el acortamiento de la cadena comercial, presentando una complejidad que se traslada hacia el diseño y la implementación de las políticas públicas que buscan afianzarlos. Este artículo de investigación analiza las manifestaciones de esa complejidad y el desafío que representa para un abordaje más integral desde esas políticas en sus distintos niveles, desde el apoyo específico a iniciativas puntuales y sus instancias de articulación hasta los aportes para la construcción de una “ciudadanía alimentaria” y la promoción de cambios radicales en los modelos de producción y de consumo de la sociedad. Se argumenta que las percepciones y el accionar de los actores privados y públicos relacionados con los Circuitos Alimentarios Alternativos, en la medida en que sólo se focalicen en alguno de estos niveles, terminan acotando los alcances de los esfuerzos de consolidación de estas políticas. Argentina is witnessing a process of expansion of forms of food production and distribution that seek to differentiate themselves from conventional modalities. These forms privilege a social economy approach, the territorial perspective and the development of own marketing channels. So, these Alternative Food Circuits (CAA) aim to strengthen ethical aspects in the exchange and environmentally friendly production practices with the shortening of the commercial chain. Given these purposes, these circuits present a marked complexity that is transferred to the design and implementation of the public policies that seek to strengthen them. This work aims to analyze the manifestations of this complexity and the challenge that it represents for a more comprehensive approach from the public policies related to CAA. Thus, the existence of different levels is proposed for its analysis: one of them is related with the support for specific policy initiatives; other, encompasses mechanisms that facilitate their articulation. A third, with focus in the contributions for the construction of a “food citizenship”; and the last, where radical changes in the production and consumption models of society are promoted. It´s argued that the perceptions and actions of the private and public actors related with CAA´s can and its policies limit the scope of the articulation and coordination efforts of these policies to consolidate these circuits, if they are focused only in some of these levels.	es_ES
