dc.description	Este artículo de investigación, a partir de la evidencia empírica, analiza la dificultad a la que se enfrentan los oficialismos en Latinoamérica para revalidarse en términos electorales en el lapso histórico 2015 a 2023. Asimismo, da cuenta de los procesos de transformación que se vienen sucediendo en la región a partir del final de la etapa del giro a la izquierda en 2015 intentando caracterizar a esta nueva fase tan compleja e incierta. En ese marco, se analizan las singularidades de este tiempo histórico como son las masivas y potentes movilizaciones sociales, la persistencia de las salidas presidenciales sin cambio de régimen, el nuevo rol de las fuerzas armadas y la emergencia de liderazgos provenientes de la ultraderecha ideológica que plantean nuevos desafíos al sistema político. Por último, la necesidad de caracterizar este nuevo momento que vive la región, y comprenderlo como una cuarta fase, luego de las tradicionales Transición a la democracia, Neoliberalismo y Giro a la izquierda, resulta ser uno de los propósitos centrales del análisis. The article analyzes, based on empirical evidence, the difficulty that the ruling parties in Latin America face in revalidating themselves in electoral terms in the historical period 2015 to 2023. Likewise, it gives an account of the transformation processes that has been taking place in the region since the end of the stage of the “turn to the left” in 2015 trying to characterize this new phase as complex and uncertain. In this framework, the singularities of this historical time are analyzed, such as the massive and powerful social mobilizations, the persistence of presidential turnovers without regime change, the new role of the armed forces and the emergence of leaderships coming from the ideological extreme right posing new challenges to democracy. Finally, the need to characterize this new moment that the region is experiencing, and comprehend it as a fourth phase, following the traditional transition to democracy, neoliberalism and leftward turn, is one of the central purposes of this analysis.	es_ES
