Introducción/ Objetivo: este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la productividad del accionar policial en Ecuador mediante el índice de productividad total de los factores de Hicks-Moorsteen. Metodología: el análisis abarca cinco periodos (2018-2022), con el año 2018 como referencia tecnológica, y toma como unidad de decisión los 221 cantones del país. Introduction/ Objective: This study aims to analyze the productivity of police actions in Ecuador using the Hicks- Moorsteen total factor productivity index. The analysis covers five periods (2018-2022), with the year 2018 as the technological reference, and takes the 221 cantons of the country as decision-making units.
