dc.description	El presente artículo analiza el sistema presidencialista mexicano desde una perspectiva comparada. En primer lugar se habla sobre las variedades del presidencialismo en las repúblicas constitucionales latinoamericanas que buscan construir regímenes democráticos de alta calidad, con especial atención en la cuestión de la “calidad” de la democracia, y en los aspectos informales y no institucionalizados de los sistemas presidenciales de la región. La segunda parte ofrece un análisis del sistema político mexicano. Finalmente, en la conclusión se consideran algunas reformas que podrían fortalecer la legitimidad presidencial y aumentar la “calidad” de la democracia mexicana.	es_ES
dc.description	This essay analyses themexican presidentialist system from a comparative perspective. In the first part we discuss the variety of presidentialism within the Latin american constitutional republics, which pursue the edification of high-quality democratic regimes, with a special attention on the quality of democracy, and on the informal and non-institutionalized aspects of the presidential systems of the region. The second part of the essay offers an analysis of the mexican political system. Finally, the conclusion considers some reforms that may fortify the presidential legitimacy and increase the quality of mexican democracy.	es_ES
