dc.description	Esta tesis reconstruye la trayectoria del político y escritor, de orientación nacionalista, Ernesto Palacio (1900-1979). En primer lugar, presenta las tendencias actuales en torno a los estudios biográficos; las tareas encaradas para la construcción del “archivo Palacio” y el estado de la cuestión en la historiografía referido al nacionalismo y a su trayectoria. La exposición se ordena sobre la base de diversas facetas de su personalidad. Tras presentar los años formativos de Palacio, así como su militancia ácrata y reformista, se presenta su accionar en el mundo de las letras (bohemia, vanguardia, premiación municipal), su actuación en el ámbito de las organizaciones gremiales de escritores, y se culmina en el fallido intento de diálogo entre el peronismo y la Sociedad Argentina de Escritores (SADE). Sus participaciones periodísticas (La Fronda, La Nueva República, El Hogar, La Nación, Nuevo Orden y Política) fueron contextualizadas rescatando los ejes principales de sus intervenciones. En el análisis del proceso de producción, contenido y repercusiones de las obras Catilina, de 1935, y Teoría del Estado de 1949, se considera su faceta como pensador político. Mediante el estudio de su Historia de la Argentina, del año 1954, colofón de una larga preparación y de otras intervenciones previas en el ámbito revisionista, se analiza su papel como historiador. Su actuación política, que dialoga con las facetas anteriores, tiene su propia especificidad y se despliega entre 1930 y 1955. En ese recorrido, se privilegia la coyuntura correspondiente a la irrupción del peronismo, en el que se pusieron en acto los perfiles vistos con anterioridad para terminar siendo el diputado triunfante y más votado de un distrito, en principio, adverso al naciente movimiento. Un accidente, a fines de 1955, espació sus intervenciones. A partir de allí, pervivió en las reediciones de sus libros y como “mito” literario, historiográfico y político. Para dar unidad a esta narración, en la parte final se presenta su figura recuperando algunos ejes vertebradores de su pensamiento y una serie de prácticas de carácter más permanente. A ello, se agrega una secuencia de escenas en las que se conjugan las distintas facetas de su trayectoria vital y un ejercicio de comparación y contraste con otras figuras de la cultura y la política argentina del siglo XX. Por último, se exponen interrogantes en torno a la identidad política y las opciones de Palacio, y algunas respuestas de carácter conjetural que permiten seguir investigando y reflexionando en torno a su figura. This thesis rebuilds the path of the nationalist politician and writer Ernesto Palacio (1900-1979). First, it presents the current trends as regards the biographical studies; the tasks for the construction of “file Palacio” (“archive Palacio”) and the status of the historiography referred to the nationalism and his path. The exhibit is ordered by different facets Of his personality. After presenting the forming years in Palacio as well as his anarchist and reformist militancy, it is presented his involvements in the literacy world (bohemian, vanguard, municipal award) as well as his performance in the trade union of writers, and the failure of discussion between Peronism and the Argentine Writer’s Society (SADE). His journalistic participations (La Fronda, La Nueva República, El Hogar, La Nación, Nuevo Orden y Política) were put into context emphasizing the main axis of his interventions. In the analysis of the process of production, content and impacts of the texts Catilina (1935) and Teoría del Estado (1949), his aspect as political thinker was considered. Through the study of Historia de la Argentina (1954), colophon of a long preparation and other contributions in the revisionist field, he is analyzed as historian. His political performance, related to the facets mentioned before, has its own specificity between 1930-1955. During that time, it was favored the juncture of the irruption of the Peronism, in which the profile already mentioned were remarked and leading to be a winning and most-awarding deputy. An accident, by the end of 1955, paused his contributions. From now then, he reedited his book and classified them as literary, historiographic and political “myth”. In the final part of this thesis, his figure is presented regaining some axis of his thoughts. Also, a sequence of scenes of his aspects as regards the vital path and a compare-contrast with other Argentinian cultural and political figures of XX. Last, some questions are presented as regards the political identity and options of Palacio and some answers, which let us keep on researching and reflecting about his figure.	es_ES
