dc.description	En el área de salud mental existe, en documentos legales y académicos de variadas partes del mundo -entre ellos las leyes de Argentina, Uruguay, Perú, Portugal, Italia, Brasil, y recomendaciones de la ONU, la OMS, y la Asociación Española de Neuropsiquiatría- una orientación con gran nivel de consenso en cuanto al diseño de los tratamientos. Esa dirección a la que apuntan estas especificaciones refiere a la conveniencia de que los pacientes realicen sus abordajes terapéuticos dentro de las mismas comunidades en donde habitan. Ninguna institución ni entidad, por otra parte, sugiere lo exactamente opuesto: que las personas sean trasladadas a otras poblaciones para poder llevar a cabo sus tratamientos. En este sentido, la presente tesis apunta a generar una pregunta concreta sobre un grupo particular de los pacientes de salud mental: los adictos a sustancias ilícitas. Nos interesa investigar cómo ellos significan sus territorios identitarios, y cómo esos significados inciden en sus tratamientos. Nos valdremos para ello del concepto de territorio tomado en su perspectiva simbólico-cultural, y especialmente consideraremos una mirada multi escalar. Esta última explica que el vínculo entre los individuos y grupos, por un lado, y sus territorios por otro, se desarrolla en diferentes escalas. Cuanto más cercano al sujeto y su colectivo es el espacio (la casa, la familia, el barrio pueden ser ejemplos de cercanía) más identitario será ese territorio; se da aquí un interjuego en el cual la identidad de la o las personas configura el territorio, y viceversa. Desarrollamos el trabajo de campo en la Asociación Civil Del Prado, una comunidad terapéutica de Concepción del Uruguay que por su ubicación recibe a pacientes de otras localidades. Con miras a aproximarme a la pregunta-problema de investigación, me basé en el modo de abordaje cualitativo, centrándome en una estrategia de investigación en particular, la Teoría Fundamentada. Mediante la producción y análisis de categorías, intenté reconstruir cómo los pacientes significaban sus territorios identitarios, aplicando luego los procedimientos del método de comparación constante a los testimonios obtenidos, que son en definitiva el insumo más valioso de este trabajo.	es_ES
dc.description	In the area of mental health there is, in legal and academic documents from various parts of the world -including the laws of Argentina, Uruguay, Perú, Portugal, Italy, Brazil, recommendations those of the UN, WHO, and the Spanish Association of Neuropsychiatry- an orientation with high level of consensus regarding the design of treatments. This direction to which these specifications point refers to the convenience of patients carrying out their therapeutic approaches within the same communities where they live. No institution or entity, on the other hand, suggests the exact opposite: that people will be transferred to other populations to be able to carry out their treatments. In this sense, this thesis aims to generate a specific question about a particular group of mental health patients: those addicted to illicit substances. We are interested in investigating how they signify their identity territories, and how these meanings affect their treatments. For this, we will use the concept of territory taken from its symbolic-cultural perspective, and especially we will consider a multi-scalar perspective. The latter explains that the link between individuals and groups on the one hand, and their territories, for another, develops on different scales. The closer the space is to the subject and his group (the house, the family, the neighbourhood can be examples of closeness) the more identity that territory will be; here, there is an interplay in which the identity of the person or people configures the territory, and viceversa. We developed the field work in the Del Prado Civil Association, a therapeutic community in Concepción del Uruguay that, due to its location, receives patients from other localities. In order to approach the research questionproblem, I relied on the qualitative approach, focusing on a particular research strategy, the Grounded Theory. Through the production and analysis of categories, I tried to reconstruct how the patients meant their identify territories, then applaying the procedures of the constant comparison method to the testimonies obtained, which are ultimately the most valuable input in this thesis.	es_ES
