dc.description	Este ensayo analiza las representaciones de los museos del Ecuador sobre los afroecuatorianos. Estudiando el caso de los museos del Banco Central del Ecuador, se demuestra cómo la identidad afroecuatoriana es deliberadamente excluida de los espacios museográficos que expresan la memoria oficial de la nación. Este tema cobra vigencia en momentos en que la sociedad afroecuatoriana, por medio de sus movilizaciones y acciones colectivas, emprende una fuerte batalla contra el racismo y la exclusión.	en
dc.description	This paper analyzes the way in which museums in Ecuador represent Afro Ecuadorian culture. In studying the museums of the Banco Central del Ecuador, it is shown how the Afro Ecuadorian identity is deliberately excluded from museum spaces that represent the official memory of the Nation. This topic becomes even more important at times when the Afro Ecuadorian society, by means of collective mobilization and action, battles racism and exclusion.	en
