dc.description	Desde una perspectiva que reconoce que la racionalidad matemática y los métodos de medición de las ciencias económicas tienen como fundamento criterios de valor, es decir, que en las ciencias económicas las variables de medición nunca son neutrales, este ensayo cuestiona la imagen del progreso cosmético tanto de la pobreza como del hambre que proyectan no sólo el Banco Mundial, sino los Objetivos del Milenio. Demuestra que la realización de la meta reducción del hambre en un 50% para el año 2015 constituye una realización aparente que se suscita por el efecto de tres factores: 1) porque la magnitud absoluta de la población objetivo disminuye si se modifica el año base; 2) porque la magnitud absoluta de la población objetivo disminuye si se reduce la base geohistórica exclusivamente a los países menos desarrollados; y 3) porque, en la historia real, no han disminuido sino aumentado tanto el hambre como la pobreza en el mundo.	es_EC
dc.description	From a perspective that recognizes that mathematical rationality and measurement methods of economics are based on criteria of value, ie, that in economics the measurement variables are never neutral, this essay questions the image of a cosmetic progress both of poverty as hunger that project not only the World Bank, but the Millennium Goals. This paper shows that the realization of the goal of reducing hunger by 50% by the year 2015 constitute an apparent realization that arises from the effect of three factors: 1) because the absolute magnitude of the target population decreases if the base year is changed; 2) because the absolute magnitude of the target population decreases if the geohistorical base is reduced exclusively to Least Developed Countries; and 3) because, in real history, not decreased but increased both hunger and poverty in the world.	es_EC
