dc.description	En este artículo se plantea una revolución copernicana en el binomio enseñanza-aprendizaje, el cual hasta ahora ha tenido como centro la docencia, dejando a la investigación como algo opcional. Poner en el centro la actividad de investigación requiere ampliar el binomio tradicional de docente-investigador al de discente-investigador, lo cual concuerda con el planteamiento del Nuevo Modelo Educativo del IPN de una educación centrada en el discente buscando su autonomía. Con este objetivo se propone la integración de los tres programas creados e implementados desde 1984 para el fomento a la investigación, tanto a nivel institucional como nacional. El trabajo inicia con la propuesta de una doble cronología, el Anno Domini y el Anno Scientiae que implica el paso de la era de la sabiduría a la era del conocimiento científico, tomando como punto de referencia, y sólo como eso, la analogía entre Jesucristo y Sócrates, ambos muertos de manera democrática en sus respectivas eras. No se trata de un cambio de cronología, sino de una propuesta en la que se resalte la actividad de investigación que derive en el cambio cultural requerido por la era del conocimiento científico.	es_EC
dc.description	Our proposal in this paper is to change the traditional process of teaching in which research is a secondary process. We call this change a Copernican revolution in the learning-teaching traditional relationship. We propose it as a process which the center is the research as the way to arrive to knowledge, not to acquire the teacher´s knowledge. This process needs the creation of two new roles: teacher-researcher and student-researcher. This is the way by mean of the objective of the New Educational Model of IPN can be achieved: The autonomous education of students. Then, we propose the integration of three programs created and implemented since 1984 to foster research activities and productivity in both national and institutional level. Our paper begins with the proposal of a double chronology, the Anno Domini and the Anno Scientiae considering what we call the shift of the age of wisdom to the age of scientific knowledge. It is shown an analogy between Socrates and Jesus Christ, both democratically murdered in their own era. This is not a proposal of chronological change, but a simultaneous chronology by mean of the required cultural shift toward research activity.	es_EC
