| Resumen / Abstract : | La investigación exploró sobre el tratamiento del pasado reciente de Chile en la institución escolar. Para tal objetivo realizó un estudio de caso intrínseco en dos escuelas primarias identificadas con el nombre de una víctima de la dictadura militar. Se realizó el análisis del curriculum oficial, libros de texto, observaciones participantes en clases de Historia y Ciencias Sociales, entrevistas a directivos, docentes, familias y actividades grupales con niños y niñas para conocer el modo en que en la escuela se transmite el gobierno de la Unidad Popular (1970- 1973), el golpe de Estado (11 de septiembre de 1973), la dictadura militar (1973- 1990) y la transición democrática (1990 hasta hoy). Los resultados dan cuenta que la escuela primaria chilena aborda estos contenidos tanto en el curriculum como en conversaciones informales en la cotidianeidad escolar. Además los y las estudiantes reciben información de sus familias y los medios de comunicación. Relativo a las luchas memoriales se advierte el consenso en la condena a las violaciones a los derechos humanos y al protagonismo de A. Pinochet en los crímenes de Estado, al valor positivo de la transición democrática, mientras que se expresan resistencias a las versiones oficiales sobre el éxito del modelo neoliberal. Las discrepancias más relevantes están en las memorias sobre el gobierno de la Unidad Popular y la justificación del golpe de Estado. The research explored the treatment of the recent past of Chile in the school. For this purpose a study of intrinsic cases was conducted in two primary schools each one identified with the name of a victim of the military dictatorship. It was conducted an analysis of the official curriculum, textbooks, observations in classes of History and Social Sciences, interviews with principals, teachers, families and group activities with children to know how the school treated the government Popular Unity (1970- 1973), the coup (September 11, 1973), the military dictatorship (1973- 1990) and the democratic transition (1990 to present). The results show that chilean primary schools teach these contents in the curriculum and in informal conversations in daily school life. Students also receive information from other sources such as their own families and the media. Memorial struggles concerning consensus in condemning the violations of human rights and the role of Pinochet in state crimes, the positive value of the democratic transition, while resistances are expressed to official versions of the success of the neoliberal model. The most significant differences can be founded in the memories on the government of the Popular Unity and justification of the coup. |
