| Description: | Este estudio lleva a cabo una interpretación sociohistórica de los frentes de minería ilegal y sus afinidade con los dos grupos criminales, Comando Vermelho (CV) y Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC), que se expandieron violentamente desde Rio de Janeiro y São Paulo hacia la región amazónica, a partir de 2014. Se sostiene la hipótesis de que la concepción nativa “narcogarimpo”, que surgió en el contexto actual, puede contribuir a ilustrar tendencias en un proceso de reorganización de la ecología criminal en la Amazonía brasileira. This study conducts a socio-historical interpretation of illegal mining fronts and the ir affinities with two criminal groups, Comando Vermelho (CV) and Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC), which violently expanded from Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo to the Amazon region, starting in 2014. The hypotheses is that the native concept of “narcogarimpo,” emerging in the current context, can help illustrate trends in a process of reorganization of criminal ecology in the Brazilian Amazon. |
