Entre los grupos guaraníes el análisis de su religiosidad ha sido material de estudio desde los tiempos de la colonia. Examinaremos ciertas características de la espiritualidad de una parcialidad de dichos grupos, los mbyá asentados en Misiones (Argentina). Mostraremos la relación de la cosmovisión étnica en torno a las imbricaciones palabra-alma-nombre con prácticas de resistencia ante la sociedad envolvente blanca, en especial mediante el estudio de fuentes secundarias y análisis de contenido de entrevistas en profundidad y observaciones realizadas en algunas comunidades entre noviembre de 2009 y mayo de 2010. Se propone cómo una forma de curación mediante cantos sagrados y rezos es expresada como diacrítico cultural en doble sentido: al interior de las comunidades, marcando las identidades de status en cuanto a la organización político-religiosa; hacia el exterior, por cuanto existe una identificación grupal en torno al prestigio que emana del conocimiento de dichos cantos y que se considera ajena y fronteriza a toda relación de contacto con la sociedad occidental.
Among the Guarani groups, analyzing their religious study material it has been since colonial times contact. We analyze certain characteristics of the spirituality of partiality of these groups, mbyá settled in Misiones (Argentina). Show the relationship of ethnic worldview around the overlaps word-soul-name name with practices of resistance to white surrounding society, especially through the study of secondary sources and content analysis of speech in-depth interviews in some communities, from November-2009 to May 2010. In this study is presented as a form of healing with sacred songs and prayers is understood and practiced as a cultural diacritic in two ways. In one side, within communities, checking the identities of status and rank in terms of political organization religious; on the other hand, because there is a group identification around the prestige that comes from the knowledge of these songs and is considered alien and border relationship all contact with Western society
