Resumen / Abstract :	Planteamos el interés del estudio de la práctica comunicativa cotidiana en torno a la enfermedad como proceso experiencial, a través de las variadas narrativas escritas asociadas a exvotos que se encuentran en los santuarios y ermitas de devoción local. Estos relatos individuales exhibidos en lugares colectivos tienen un doble objetivo: por un lado, servir como canal de desahogo del sufrimiento personal y/o social ante la aflicción y la dolencia y, por otro, incidir y afectar con precisión sobre las emociones de las personas que los leen. Estos storytelling o relatos emocionales-estructuralmente- tienen una eficacia simbólica que incide en el proceso terapéutico de la persona (o de su entorno), constituyéndose en eficaces elementos comunicadores, potenciados por el espacio físico en el que se hallan y, siendo lugares privilegiados de manifestación y expresión de las representaciones sociales más íntimas. Se pretende abordar este fenómeno desde una metodología cualitativa analizando los discursos de estas narrativas de la subjetividad en el contexto fundamentalmente español, pero con referencias a casos latinoamericanos equivalentes. We put forward the interest of studying everyday communicative practices in relation to illness as an experiential process, through the various written narratives associated with votive offerings found in shrines and hermitages of local worship. These individual accounts exhibited in collective spaces have a dual purpose: on the one hand, to serve as a channel for relief of personal and/or social suffering in the face of affliction and ailments and, on the other, to precisely influence and affect the emotions of the people who read them. These storytellings, or these emotional accounts, are structurally effective in terms of symbolism and influence a person’s (or an environment’s) therapeutic process. They constitute effective communicative elements and are reinforced by the physical space in which they are found privileged places in which the most intimate social acts are manifested and expressed. We intend to address this phenomenon using a qualitative methodology, analysing the arguments of these narratives of subjectivity fundamentally in the context of Spain, but while also referencing similar cases in Latin America.
