dc.descriptionEl presente texto examina las formas de predicación jesuita, contenidas en el esquema de subjetividad cristiana, y que entran en juego con las estrategias de conquista, expansión y explotación en el reino de Chile durante el siglo XVII. Se propone una lectura del pasado colonial, de sus relaciones de poder imbricadas en las ‘tecnologías del yo’, en el marco de un proyecto Fondecyt de Iniciación (nº11140804) que tiene como objeto de análisis los efectos de despolitización que tiene la Educación Intercultural durante las últimas décadas de postdictadura. El eje que orienta este trabajo está en pensar cómo el núcleo de la subjetividad mapuche (weichafe) ha sido durante siglos el foco de interés en las políticas o prácticas de dominación imperial.es_ES
dc.descriptionThis paper examines modalities of Jesuit preaching that are part of the scheme of Christian subjectivity, and that come into play with strategies of conquest, expansion and exploitation in the Kingdom of Chile during the seventeenth century. It intends a reading of the colonial past, and of colonial power relations embedded in technologies of the self. This reading is part of a Fondecyt Initiation Project nº11140804, whose object of analysis are the effects of depoliticization in Intercultural Education in the recent, post-dictatorship decades. The axis that guides this work is to reflect on how the core of the Mapuche subjectivity (weichafe) has for centuries been the focus of interest in policies or practices of imperial domination.es_ES
