Ubi bene, ibi patria. Voto por este aforismo cosmopolita; lo estimo naturalísimo y justo. Cualquiera sea la tierra que nos sustente y sus habitantes que nos estimen y ambiente que nos dé bienestares que quizá el solar nativo no pudo darnos, patria es ella y a ella se vincula nuestra alma hasta nuestro cuerpo se nacionaliza, puesto que todo su vestido celular en ella se renovó totalmente cada siete años, según biología y fisiología. Si vale este fundamento, vale también afirmar que esta biografía que andaba camino de ser olvidada tiene gran derecho a entrar en mi galería, si los merecimientos y servicios del sujeto están en la conciencia popular que no siempre se expresa en papel impreso.
