El sentido de este ensayo, elaborado a base de una investigación de campo, no es contribuir al conocimiento de la comunicacion visual, entre los indígenas Huichoies, sino que intenta establecer una forma metodológica que nos permita acercarnos, aunque parcialmente, a ciertas herramientas de comunicación, especialmente la fotografía a través de la cual se llegue a una etnología de la comunicación.
