Este no es un documento técnico, por eso simplifica y aborda de manera muy general el proceso de ingeniería que produce la transmisión digital de audio
(Digital Audio Broadcasting,
DAB). Se refiere mása lo que hace y puede hacer este tipo de transmisión para la radio, en el futuro, y sus consecuencias para la radio comunitaria
(especialmente en Europa), frente a lo cual solo queda actuar, y hacerlo a tiempo.
