Description
El sector de las comunicaciones vía satélite en España vivió en 2005 una fase muy activa, en donde el número de servicios y aplicaciones tuvo a un crecimiento exponencial muy significativo, ligado directamente a las nuevas vías de explotación comercial del sistema de satélites. El punto de inflexión o referencia que marcó este despegue fue la puesta en órbita del primer satélite HISPASAT en 1992.
