Al abordar el tema de la defensa de los cines nacionales no podemos dejar de referimos a un espectro más amplio como es el de la identidad cultural. Y no podemos tampoco remitimos
a la identidad cultural sin considerar previamente la inmensa tarea que se tiene por delante en el rescate de la memoria colectiva como única garantía de consolidación de una identidad nacional
y latinoamericana.
