En cierto modo, y para decirlo explícitamente, la peripecia del cine venezolano y sus sucesivas fases conflictivas -desde el momento en que Manuel Trujillo Durán, en Maracaibo, proyectó dos películas suyas en el vitascopio adquirido a Edison en 1897, han sido más o menos las mismas que personalmente hemos vivido con agónico padecimiento durante estos treinta largos años dedicados al cine y a la pasión del cine.
