Este trabajo analiza la diversificación de las estrategias de vida de la Agricultura Familiar en Colombia y propone un análisis de los determinantes de los patrones de diversificación. Utilizando el método de statistical matching para estimar las estructuras de ingresos de los hogares, se evidenció una diversificación de las estrategias de vida. Se destacó, igualmente, una alta heterogeneidad en los patrones de diversificación, consistentemente con la alta diversidad las características y dotación de activos de los hogares, así como en los territorios en los cuales viven.
This paper measures the diversification of Family Farming livelihood strategies in Colombia and proposes an analysis of the determinants of diversification patterns. Using the statistical matching method to estimate household income structures, we found a diversification of livelihood strategies. A great heterogeneity of diversification patterns was also evidenced, consistently with the heterogeneity of both the characteristics and asset endowment of households, and the characteristics of the territories in which they live.
