O presente artigo é resultado de uma pesquisa de doutoramento em andamento, intitulada: “Os sitiantes de Córrego dasPedras (MT): trajetórias de vida e memórias da terra de trabalho”. Objetivamos analisar a dinâmica social referente às formas de sobrevivência das famílias que vivem em mini e pequenas propriedades denominadas sítios, espaço de terras férteis, ocupadas no início da década de 60, onde residem e trabalham, localizada no município de Tangará da Serra, no estado de Mato Grosso, Brasil. A análise tem como foco a produção da vida material e imaterial, em um cenário de resistência ao avanço do agronegócio.
This paper is the result of a doctoral research in progress, titled: “The landsmen of Córrego das Pedras (MT): trajectories of life and memories of the land of work”. We aim to analyze the social dynamics related to the survival of families living in mini and small properties called ranches, fertile land space, occupied in the early 60’s, where they live and work, located in the municipality of Tangará da Serra, in the state from Mato Grosso, Brazil. The analysis focuses on the production of material and immaterial life, in a scenario of resistance to the advance of agribusiness.
