Abstract
Description
The need to understand the concept of city in a different way leads to the study of the processes of segregation that exist in its daily life, specifically to understand the marginalization that exists in the design of the public space of the city of Cuenca towards the vulnerable group affected by visual impairment. Three stages were developed, the purpose of which is to identify and evidence the problem in a specific area, and to propose an urban-architectural design that will allow the development and autonomy of blind people and citizens in general.
