Description
Como alternativa a los enfoques tradicionales de gobernanza de bienes económicos, se destaca el diseño y uso de instituciones de acción colectiva desarrolladas por comunidades y grupos que interactúan con sistemas de recursos naturales situados en sus territorios. En este contexto, la investigación analiza las interacciones entre actores comunales de Santa Elena y el Estado ecuatoriano en torno a la gestión local de la política pública del agua. La metodología es predominantemente cualitativa, combinando elementos de los análisis institucional y discursivo.
As an alternative to traditional approaches of Governance of economic goods, the design and use of collective action institutions established by communities and groups that interact with natural resource systems located in their territories deserve special recognition. In this context, this paper analyzes the interactions between communal actors in Santa Elena and the Ecuadorian State, regarding local management of public water policy. The methodology used is predominantly qualitative, combining institutional and discursive analysis.
