Se realiza investigación con paradigma sociocrítico, enfoque cualitativo y diseño longitudinal, para identificar factores de riesgo y evaluar resultados de Diabetes Mellitus (DM). Mediante encuesta aplicada en muestra no probabilística de habitantes de ambos sexos del Barrio San Ignacio del Cocuy. Ciudad Bolívar, estado Bolívar; se incluyeron individuos ≥ 12 años de edad, no diabéticos, con al menos un factor de riesgo para DM.
It conducts research with sociocritic paradigm, this qualitative and longitudinal design to identify risk factors and evaluate results of Diabetes Mellitus (DM). By survey conducted in non random sample of inhabitants of both sexes of San Ignacio del Cocuy. Ciudad Bolivar, Bolivar State, included individuals ≥ 12 years of age, non-diabetic, with at least one risk factor for DM.
