Description
Basados en el caso de los proyectos radiales Namuy Wam del Pueblo Misak (Guambiano) y Radio Payumat del Pueblo Nasa (Paez), este artículo discute los efectos de la intervención del estado en el desarrollo de la radio indígena en Colombia. La radio indígena, especialmente aquella fruto de procesos políticos en los cuales participaron miembros de la iglesia católica y colaboradores externos, han aportado de distintas maneras al fortalecimiento de los proyectos políticos colectivos de las comunidades indígenas.
Base on the case of the indigenous radio stations Namuy Wam of the Misak (Guambiano) and Radio Payumat of the Nasa (Paez), this article shows the effects of the interventions of the state in the development of indigenous radio stations in Colombia. These media projects, especially those resulted from the political process in which members of the Catholic church and external collaborators participated actively, have contributed in different ways to the strengthening the collective political projects of those communities.
Com base no caso dos projetos de rádio Namuy Wam de Pueblo Misak (Guambiano) e da Rádio Payumat do Povo Nasa (Páez), este artigo analisa os efeitos da intervenção estatal no desenvolvimento da rádio indígena na Colômbia. A rádio indígena, especialmente o resultado de processos políticos envolvendo membros da Igreja Católica e colaboradores externos, contribuiu de diferentes maneiras para o fortalecimento dos projetos políticos coletivos das comunidades indígenas.
