El estudio aborda las transformaciones de la industria cultural musical a partir del caso de la música protesta en el Ecuador. El interés surge sobre la importancia de evidenciar manifestaciones artísticas alternativas que se plantean a partir de la reivindicación del ser humano, y que parten de la necesidad de difundir expresiones culturales construidas desde el “otro”. El estudio sugiere así la posibilidad de abrir camino para aquellas expresiones artísticas como la planteada, que se muestra a modo de propuesta de lucha constante por reivindicar las condiciones de vida los pueblos latinoamericanos, pero al ritmo del inconformismo.
The study addresses the transformations of the musical cultural industry based on the case of protest music in Ecuador. The interest arises on the importance of evidencing alternative artistic manifestations that arise from the claim of the human being, and that start from the need to spread cultural expressions constructed from the “other”. The study thus suggests the possibility of opening the way for those artistic expressions such as the one proposed, which is shown as a proposal of constant struggle to claim the living conditions of the Latin American peoples, but at the rate of nonconformity.
O estudo aborda as transformações da indústria cultural musical baseada no caso da música de protesto no Equador. O interesse surge pela importância de evidenciar manifestações artísticas alternativas que surgem da reivindicação do ser humano, e que partem da necessidade de difundir expressões culturais construídas a partir do “outro”. O estudo sugere, assim, a possibilidade de abrir caminho para as expressões artísticas como a proposta, que se mostra como uma proposta de luta constante para reivindicar as condições de vida dos povos latino-americanos, mas à taxa de inconformidade.
