Description
A partir de materiales artísticos que denominamos poéticas del fin, se pensarán, mediadas por la mirada, problemáticas aún latentes en la subjetividad con relación a un inminente desastre nuclear (con efectos como el cambio climático, la expulsión de material radioactivo en las plantas nucleares, y la tensión beligerante desde los inicios de la Guerra fría hasta la incursión de nuevos países en el catálogo de potencias nucleares), que se relacionan con lo que llamaremos escatología atómica, en referencia al oxímoron de un principio y final del universo profundamente entrelazados.
From artistic materials that we call poetics of the end, we will think, mediated by the gaze, of problems still latent in subjectivity in relation to an imminent nuclear disaster (with effects such as climate change, the expulsion of radioactive material in nuclear plants, and the belligerent tension from the beginning of the Cold War to the incursion of new countries into the catalog of nuclear powers), which are related to what we will call atomic eschatology, in reference to the oxymoron of a deeply intertwined beginning and end of the universe.
A partir de materiais artísticos que denominamos poéticas do fim, pensaremos, mediados pelo olhar, em problemas ainda latentes na subjetividade em relação a um iminente desastre nuclear (com efeitos como a mudança climática, a expulsão de material radioativo das usinas nucleares e a tensão beligerante desde o início da Guerra Fria até a incursão de novos países no catálogo de potencias nucleares), que estão relacionados ao que chamaremos de escatologia atômica, em referência ao oximoro de um início e fim do universo profundamente entrelaçado.
