Abstract
Description
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused multiple transformations of different types. The most basic and vital of these is communicative interactions, which are marked by fear of contagion, and which are now based on constructions of a harmless Self and an infected You. This contrast is based on suspicion, exclusion, disqualification, and accusation of the Other. Faced with the prescription of “physical distancing”, face-to-face communicative interactions under the suspicion of contact, have naturally and traumatically been transformed into digital interactions. Cyber contacts, which are apparently safe compared to physical contact, has become both a partial and immediate solution and a unfolding of the problem because of the lack of communication and the ruptures that it promotes.
