El desconocimiento de la COVID-19 aumentó la difusión de información sobre el virus en los usuarios de redes sociales, sin que estas sean necesariamente verificadas. El personal sanitario en Lima-Perú se enfrentó a la recepción de información falsa y bulos no solo como ciudadanos, sino también como profesionales de la salud. Su participación durante la pandemia estuvo relacionada con la difusión, consumo y contención de fake news y bulos, pero también con su aprendizaje sobre la alfabetización mediática e informacional. En este escenario, se ha aplicado una encuesta para analizar la participación del personal sanitario en Lima-Perú.
Ignorance of COVID-19 increased the dissemination of information about the virus to users of social networks, without necessarily verifying it. Health personnel in Lima-Peru faced the reception of false information and hoaxes not only as citizens, but also as health professionals. Their participation during the pandemic was related to the dissemination, consumption and containment of fake news and hoaxes, but also to their learning of media and information literacy. In this scenario, a survey has been applied to analyze the participation of health personnel in Lima-Peru.

O pessoal de saúde em Lima-Peru enfrentou a recepção de informações falsas e embustes não apenas como cidadãos, mas também como profissionais de saúde. Sua participação durante a pandemia estava relacionada à disseminação, consumo e contenção de notícias falsas e embustes, mas também ao seu aprendizado sobre a alfabetização da mídia e da informação. Neste cenário, foi aplicada uma pesquisa para analisar a participação dos trabalhadores da saúde em Lima-Peru.
